Tradition and quality for 30 years
i+m has been founded 30 years ago in Berlin and is now a well-established manufacturer of organic cosmetics in Germany. The founder „Inge Stamm“, a pioneer in her field, is one of the most experienced producers in the German organic cosmetics market. i+m stands for innovative organic cosmetics with highest quality standards. Berlin as the manufacturing site offers an inspiring, creative and visionary environment. Over the last decade, i+m products earned several quality rewards from the independent product testing journal „Ökotest“. All i+m cosmetic products are natural cosmetics certified and controlled by the German BDIH.
Closeness to nature
Our philosophy is closeness to nature and maintaining highest quality standards. Producing natural cosmetics means for us more than just the usage of natural ingredients. It is equally important to leave these ingredients as unprocessed as possible. We use the ingredients as given to us from nature directly or only harvested with traditional methods. Only this way the precious active ingredients as well as the typical scent can be conserved. For example, we only use native oils from organically grown plants without artificially modifying the scent or color. This distinguishes us from most other natural cosmetic manufactures. Of cause all i+m products are free of artificial ingredients e.g. colors or fragrance.
Manufactory
Following our decision to only use untreated natural ingredients, we chose to work as a small manufacturer. The production in small quantities with a large portion of manual labor ensures that we can gently preserve our precious ingredients.
Vegan
A further characteristic of i+m cosmetics is, that it is 100% vegan. We trust the effectiveness of plants and do not use any animal products or animal by-products. 30 years of research and product development taught us that plant derived ingredients are most effective, purest and safest for the skin.
It goes without saying that i+m products are made without animal testing.
Fair trade - we act responsible
We believe in the closeness to nature and we only use natural, unprocessed ingredients. An environmentally friendly production and a fair and responsible cooperation with our suppliers is particularly important to us. Under this philosophy, i+m has been supporting fair trade projects for many years.
