What is so special about this argan oil?

For 800 year now the production of argan oil has been in the hands of Moroccan women. In the social context of their families, the Berber women collect the hard nuts, break their shell and manually extract the precious oil. In contrast to the industrial production, this manual, very traditional process preserves all the wonderful fragrances and precious ingredients. The "Maroccan Gold" for example, is extraordinary rich in alpha tocopherol and essential fatty acids. It improves the complexion and supports the regenereration of dry and mature skin.

How does Fair trade work?
i+m supports the Moroccan women cooperatives U.C.F.A. and the sustainable cultivation of the arganerie, which is protected by the Unesco, by purchasing the hand pressed Argan oil. Producing the Argan oil manually, instead of only supplying the nuts to industrial refineries, the Berber could create a value supply chain apart from the industrial production.

i+m uses agran oil in the following products: Age-Protect Daily Moisturizer Avocado Hyaluron, Age-Protect Intensive Cream Avocado Argan , Age-Protect Eye Cream Rich Avocado Argan, WILD LIFE Shower Gel & Shampoo, WILD LIFE for men 24 h Cream, WILD LIFE After Shave Balm, Shower Gel Body Refresh Grapefruit Argan, Body Lotion Body Refresh Grapefruit Argan

Beauty with a good cause: i+m uses manually pressed Argand´Or Argan oil from the Moroccan women‘s co operations U.C.F.A.

There are many kinds of different Argan oils but only one is manually pressed.: i+m decided for the cooperation with Argand´Or because only manually pressed Argan lets the producing women participate on the major part of the value supply chain.
